Journalism

Using computer labs located on the first and second floors, students working toward the bachelor’s degree in journalism have access to industry standard software including and hardware. The departmental office is located on the first floor.

The entire third floor of the Journalism Building is dedicated to the nationally ranked photography program. With a large comprehensive inventory of digital and analog equipment available for student use, instruction is broad based.

An additional 20 computer workstations feed multiple printers with capabilities up to 24" wide. 32 enlarging stations, three large shooting studios, film processing facilities and a student gallery complement the in-depth instruction. A dedicated classroom on the first floor allows for digital projection, print viewing and class critiques.
