• Maximize productivity of institutional financial resources
• Facilitate measurement of financial performance of the institution
• Provide professional financial support relative to the legislative and                                     appropriations processes
• Manage institutional operating and capital budgets
• Promote, support, and facilitate financial management by university                                      executives and account managers
• Facilitate institutional financial reporting processes
• Provide financial reporting for Texas A&M University-Commerce                                           Foundation

Short-Term Goals:

• Complete reorganization of Budget Office
• Design and implement a "what if" financial model for academic and                                   administrative planning
• Complete implementation of data warehouse
• Plan implementation for higher HEF constraints
