The Physician's Assistant Program requires two years of undergraduate training to gain admission to the School of Allied Health Professions, Southwest Medical School in Dallas; School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston; and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Completion of the program may lead to a baccalaureate degree in health care sciences, certification as a physician's assistant, and eligibility to write the National Certification Examination administered by the National Board of Medical Examiners. The following curriculum is provided for the student's guidance. Student should consult catalog or programs for which admission is desired for additional requirements.
