Social Work 328 - Social Welfare Policy and Services (Three semester hours) (Restricted to social work majors and social welfare minors)

Students are acquainted with the social welfare institution and learn to analyze how its policies and services interact with other social forces in responding to social problem of clients at all levels of systems. Emphasis is given to the examination of how social policies affect oppressed populations.

Prerequisites: Social Work 225, Social Work 250, Social Work 275; Political Science 2305, History 1302. Concurrent enrollment in Social Work 322, Social Work 329,and Social Work 370 required.
