Social Work 250 - Foundations of Social Work Practice (Three semester hours) Provides an overview
of the generalist social work approach to practice. Students develop relationship-building,
problem-identification and data-gathering skills which are used with all
levels of client systems. Interviewing and written documentation skills
are developed through videotaped interviews, role plays and written assignments.
Special attention is given to ethical practice and issues of diversity.
