Psychology 327 - Cognitive Social Psychology (Three semester hours) This class is designed
to introduce the student to the basic principles of social psychology
with an emphasis on the cognitive aspects of interpersonal influence.
Topics that will be covered include: social cognition, heuristics, stereotypes,
prejudice, discrimination, cognitive dissonance and self-justification,
implicit personality theory, attribution, self-serving biases, obedience
to authority, and eyewitness testimony. |
