Kinesiology 450 - Exercise Physiology (Four semester hours) Topics include aerobic
and anaerobic energy sources of muscular activity, physiology of muscle
contraction; strength and flexibility. The role of nervous system control
of muscular activity. Pulmonary and circulatory physiology; has exchange
and transport, body composition and weight control. Pediatric exercise physiology.
Prerequisites: Biological Science 251 and Biological Science 252 or consent of instructor. |
