Reading 448 - Planning and Organization in Literacy Instruction Throughout the Curriculum in Field Based Settings (Three semester hours)

Various ways of organizing literacy instruction will be explored. Attention will be given to the development of reading fluency and written communication in the content areas. Emphasis will also be placed on understanding the basic principles of assessment and the use of a variety of literacy assessment practices to lan and implement instruction.

Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education and placement in NET CPDT Center.
