Elementary Education 300 - Introduction to Teaching (Three semester hours)

Knowledge and skills concerning the unique needs of special learners are emphasized in this course. In addition, structure, organization, and management of the American school system, as well as legal and ethical aspects of teaching, will receive attention. Thirty clock hours of professional field experiences are required.

Prerequisites: Sophomore standing, must have passed TSI, and a minimum overall GPA of 2.5. Prerequisite
or Co-requisite: ElEd 200.
