Management 438 - Compensation Management (Three semester hours)

A study of total compensation management systems is the focus of this course. Financial considerations emphasized include the environment of the employer organization, organizational policies, job analysis, job evaluation and employee performance appraisal. Non-financial compensation components are studied for the viewpoint of the work environment and job design. Retirement plans and strategies, as well as employee benefits, are also emphasized.

Prerequisites: Junior standing, Management 394.
