Sociology 436 - Introduction to Sociological Theory (Three semester hours)

This course examines the nature of theory and reviews of major sociological theories, especially structural-functionalism, conflict theory, exchange theory, and interactionism. Special attention is given to leading figures representative of the above schools of thought.


Prerequisite: Sociology 1301 or it equivalent.
