Mathematics 361 - Mathematical Modeling of Science for Middle School I (Three semester hours) Mathematics will serve
as the basis of the course and the following topics will be covered: Mathematical
modeling, transformation of functions, data analysis skills, linear models,
exponential growth and decay, logarithmic functions, logistic models,
power and polynomial models, inverse and direct variation, periodic models
and trigonometric functions. |
