History 402 - Colonial North America to 1775 (Three semester hours)

This course explores the lives and cultures of Indians and Europeans in North America through 1750. Topics that will be covered include Native American civilizations, the roll of religion in the settlement and development of North America, the economic development of the European colonies, relations between Europeans and Indians, the creation of colonial political institutions and culture, and the social structure of colonial communities.
