Biology 461 - Biology for Middle School Teachers (Three semester hours)

This course will examines the necessary content for students wishing to teach at the fourth through eighth grade level. This course will combine both content and pedagogy. Emphasis will be placed on the content as expressed in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. This course cannot be used for advanced credit for a biology major or minor.

Prerequisites: Mathematics 141 and 8 semester hours of biological science or consent of instructor.
