Biology 422 - Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy (Four semester hours - 3 lecture, 4 lab)

The lecture material in this course explores the evolution of vertebrate structure and design among vertebrate taxa. Emphasis is placed on the integument, skeletal, muscular, digestive, urogenital, respiratory, circulatory and nervous systems. Laboratory dissections, using the dogfish and the cat as models, are used to complement the lecture material.
