The Department of Accounting offers the Bachelor of Business Administration
degree with a major in accounting, the Bachelor of Professional
Accountancy with a major in professional accountancy, and the Bachelor
of professional accountancy in conjunction with the Masters of Business
Administration degree with a minor in accounting. These majors prepare
graduates for careers in all areas of accounting, which include
public accounting, private industry, financial institutions, public
utility companies, governmental agencies and other not-for-profit
entities.
Students seeking
a bachelor's degree in any of the majors must complete: (1) degree
requirements for the specific degree, (2) University Studies requirements,
and (3) the College of Business and Technology core course requirements.
In addition, courses in the major must be completed as shown.
