The Committee accepts recommendations for honorary degrees from the faculty, the administration or members of the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents, and forwards the recommendation(s) to the president. The recommendation(s) shall have the approval of the President and committee. The President then forwards the recommendation(s) to the Chancellor and the System Board of Regents for approval.
