The University Police Department is responsible for law enforcement on the campus of A&M-Commerce.  The Department is structured with several different divisions, including, patrol, criminal investigations, dispatch, administration, & security.   The department is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  We have a fully functional 911 system, and are capable of dispatching police, fire, and medical services. 

The University Police Department maintains a close working relationship with all local law enforcement agencies in order to be aware of all potential threats to A&M-Commerce or it’s students, faculty, and staff.  The department also monitors other law enforcement agencies in order to better detect criminal activities that occur at off-campus locations owned by officially recognized organizations of the university.  All criminal activity that occurs on campus should be reported directly to the University Police Department at 903-886-5868, or in person.
