Meet your 2004 Alumni Ambassadors
...........................................................
They are professors, consultants and
engineers. Others have achieved success in accounting, e-commerce
and school administration. However, this group of 27 Alumni does
have one thing in common. Wherever their endeavors take them,
from this day on, they will always represent the University as
Alumni Ambassadors.

More than two dozen new Alumni Ambassadors recently
returned to campus to speak with faculty and students and attend
a luncheon held in their honor.
At the luncheon, the Ambassadors were congratulated
by President Keith McFarland, by their college deans, and by Rene
Castilla, president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Dr. McFarland said that through the success
of these Ambassadors, it is evident that the University is doing
a good job. “You’ve gone out, you’re changing
the world and making it a better place to live, and we feel we’ve
played a role in that process,” he said.
These Alumni have joined a prestigious group

can bestow upon a graduate.

25
years of Pride!
Our
proud Lion, who so faithfully poses in his box on every
front page of The Pride, tells us that he is ready for a
change. This year, we’re going to help our Lion celebrate
his birthday outside the box. And soon, he’s going
to deliver a party favor right to your mailbox! |
