student athlete. The soccer midfielder set new school and Lone Star
Conference records for assists in a season in leading the Lions
to their first berth in the NCAA Division II Soccer Championships
and the Elite Eight. The Huggins Award honors the outstanding woman
athlete on the basis of competitive spirit, sportsmanship, athletic
ability and contributions to the program.
