Job Description:   As part of a turf grass research project, the responsibilities include watering, pulling weeds, and collecting data from a shade trial that has eight zoysia grass varieties and eight St. Augustine grass varieties. The plots are conveniently located near the center of campus. Student will be trained to use scientific equipment used to measure turf grass and environmental conditions. Hours of work are open to accommodate student class schedules. The project is one of several Departmental projects intended to improve our nation’s environment, food quality, energy efficiency, quality of life, agricultural safety, and farm profitability.  Will perform other duties as assigned by the dept.
