General Hour Requirements (All students, especially transfer students):
1. 60 semester hours from a senior institution
2. 36 advanced hours (300 and 400 level courses)
3. ¼ of your hours toward graduating have to come from TAMU-C
4. 24 of the last 30 semester hours must be taken at TAMU-C

"How to Be Successful in the Program/Classroom"
1. Commit to serious amount of time for studying, preparation for exams, assignments, reading, etc

2. Ask questions of the professor if there are problems with information or student understanding of information

3. Attend class regularly.

4. Differentiate between library databases & internet-based search engines.

5. Secure appropriate information from professor about proper citation procedures (be familiar with plagiarism, etc.)

6. Student are encouraged to go to the people who "get paid to have the answers to your questions or who can provide legitimate help
