Patsy joined the faculty at Texas A&M-Commerce in August 2002 as Field Liaison and as a Title IV-E instructor. She has 17 years of experience with the American Red Cross providing emergency needs to the military community, and approximately 8 years of experience providing mental health services in a variety of settings including private practice. Special interests include psychological services to an aging population, provision of instruction which links theory to practice for student/interns, and effective, responsible supervision. Patsy earned her BSW from East Texas State University and her MSSW from University of Texas Arlington. She is currently licensed as an LMSW-ACP.
