Must have completed at least one Social Work class while at Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMU-C). Social Work does not have to be the student's major.

Must have at least a 2.00 grade point average (GPA). Verification of member GPA status will be obtained through the Registrar's Office. Must be enrolled at TAMU-C.

Must be able to pay membership dues of $15.00 per year. Dues are due September 15th of each year.

Must be willing to make a commitment of twelve (12) hours of volunteer work per calendar year. Must complete an application and attend regular meetings.

Membership in Advocates at Texas A&M-Commerce shall not be denied or abridged to anyone because of age, gender, race, color, creed, religion, disability, veteran status, or national origin.

No solicitation or propaganda, such as "rushing" or social pressure, will be used to recruit members.
