Ed serves as the Head of the Social Work Department. He also advises students and teaches Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Social Policy, and Administration. He worked as a State Director of Developmental Disabilities in Kentucky, Texas and Minnesota before returning to Texas to teach at Texas A&M-Commerce. Ed taught in the Department of Family Practice at the University of Nebraska Medical School and in the Department of Social Work at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He earned his MSW and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Nebraska.
