Cindy received her Ph.D. in 1999 from the University of Texas-Arlington. Her MSW (1980) and BSW (1972) degrees were obtained from California State University-Fresno. In August 2001, Dr. Harr began serving on the faculty of Texas A&M University-Commerce. She has previously been an adjunct instructor at the University of Texas-Arlington, Dallas Baptist University and California Baptist University. Dr. Harr has taught a variety of courses in both the BSW & MSW programs. Dr. Harr has over fifteen years of direct practice experience including social work with communities and organizations, mental health and family services. She has over ten years of international social work experience in Latin America including the development of disaster and hunger relief projects.
