Brenda is the Director of the BSW program. She began teaching in the Social Work Department at A&M-Commerce in 1993. Prior to that, she taught at Texas Christian University and the University of Texas-Arlington. Her professional work experience includes direct practice, administration and planning, and consultation in settings such as the Salvation Army of Tarrant County, United Way of Tarrant County, the City of Arlington, the Day Care Association of Greater Fort Worth, and Youth Impact Centers of Dallas. Brenda received her BSW from Texas Christian University, her MSW and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington.
