My Vision, My Goals, Your Program
My Vision: Intramural Sports at Texas A&M University - Commerce becomes the model for sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork on campus and across the state.
My Goals: Intramural Sports will be the first thing you tell your friends and family about A&M Commerce, and the thing you remember most when you look back at your years on campus.
Your Program: If you think we need to change it, we will address it. If you think we need to add it, we will find a way. The Intramural program is designed for the students, and therefore is always being tailored to the students' requests and ideas. With my ideas we can be successful, but with all of ours we can be unmatched!
How we get there is by providing structured sports and sports-related events to the community of A&M Commerce. We offer more than 30 individual and dual events as well as team tournaments and team sport leagues. We offer traditional events like racquetball, checkers, sand volleyball and flag football as well as non-traditional events like Battleship Canoe Swamping, Guitar Hero, and Rock Paper Scissors.
We provide leadership opportunities in the form of student officials, supervisors, program assistants, and team captains. Student development is priority number one for all student employees in the Intramural Sports Program.
We also offer a club sports program featuring baseball and tennis. If you are interested in joining these clubs or forming a club sport of your own get in touch with me and we will make it happen!
