Attention Campus Recreation Patrons & Guests!
As of April 1, 2012 no one will be allowed in the facility without their A&M Commerce ID card! If you need to enter the facility and do not have your A&M Commerce ID, you will need to purchase a day pass to enter the building. Also, a photo ID is required to enter the building if you do not have your A&M Commerce ID, this includes day passes, punch passes, and any other forms of membership.

Mission Statement
The mission of Campus Rec is to provide students, faculty, and staff opportunities that promote health, fitness, and wellness through participation in a variety of structured and informal recreational activities, services, and educational programs emphasizing lifelong wellness. The department of Campus Recreation is designed to enrich campus life and advance the university’s educational mission.
Goals
In support of this mission, Campus Rec has established some overarching goals:
- To provide and effectively manage high quality programs, personnel, and equipment that offers a supportive and safe environment for positive recreational experiences.
- To educate participants on the lifelong leisure practices associated with physical, spiritual, and intellectual health which supports making responsible choices which contribute to their well-being.
- To provide inclusive recreational opportunities and environments that foster an appreciation for diversity.
- To provide employment, internships, volunteer and service opportunities for students to develop a commitment to career or personal successes.

Campus Rec aspires to create an environment which we celebrate the differences we share across the spectrum of human diversity. Diversity is vital to an individual’s holistic development and the social fabric of the university. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment through hiring and developing culturally competent staff members, outreaching to under-served populations and providing facilities and programs that support all members of the A&M-Commerce community.
