State of Texas Commodity Codes

The State of Texas adopted the National Institution of Government Purchaser's (NIGP) Commodity Codes on December 27, 2000. Commodity Codes are used to identify goods and/or service. Commodity Codes are used to search for vendors in the CMBL, to search for items on term contract, and report dollar expenditures to the Legislative Budget Board (LBB).

State law requires that users of this site be informed that this site collects the following information about users: location information for site utilization reporting and cookies for site management.
