Psychology

The Department of Psychology and Special Education offers several graduate degrees in psychology. The areas of study are listed below and link to more specific information on each.

The Applied program is accredited by the Masters in Psychology Accreditation Council, and the School Psychology program has conditional approval from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Special Education

The Department of Psychology and Special Education offers majors and minors in special education resulting in the M.A., M.S., and M.Ed.. A variety of specific coursework options exist, including those that do and do not lead toward certification; for example, the program for educational diagnosticians. Admissions and Funding

Admission begins with an application to the Graduate School. Requirements of each program can be provided through discussions with the faculty contacts listed above. Funding is available, but highly competitive.
