APS Texas Section Meeting

During the weekend of October 4-6, Dr. Chourasia, Mike Seabolt, Tao Jiang, Jeremy Yancey, and Amber Benson traveled to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth to attend the Texas Section Meeting of APS. Here, the following papers were presented:

During the weekend of October 29-30, Dr. Chourasia and Jeremy Yancey traveled to the University of Texas at Austin to attend the Texas Section Meeting of APS. The following paper was presented:

 

 

Sigma Xi Presentations

On May 10, 1999 Dr. Chourasia, Steve Hood, Sangho Bae, Ryan McKinney, and Jeremy Yancey gave presentations at the annual A&M-Commerce Sigma Xi scientific research society symposium. The following presentations were given:

  • Steve - oral presentation on Chromium Nitride thin films
  • Sangho - poster presentation on Chromium Nitride thin films
  • Ryan - oral presentation on Appearance Potential Spectroscopy (won 2nd place in the undergraduate competition)
  • Jeremy - oral presentation on Appearance Potential Spectroscopy

 

 

American Physics Society Centennial Meeting-Atlanta

During the week of March 20-26 seven A&M-Commerce physics students and Dr. Chourasia made the trip to Atlanta, GA to attend the APS Centennial Meeting. This event took place at the Georgia World Congress Center (at left).
