Region 4 Pre-Area Clinic
Sunday Nov. 8th
2:00-5:00
This one day clinic is designed to help Region 4 high school singers to
prepare for the Region 4 Pre-Area audition. The day will include
sectionals and combined rehearsals on the Pre-Area audition literature
as well as a sight-reading workshop. Directors do not need to attend and
the event is free to all high school singers in Region 4. Students must
bring their own music for rehearsals. To register send Dr. Hooper an
email with the number of students attending by Nov. 3rd.

Splash Day Choral Festival Friday and Saturday

Elementary, middle school, junior high and high school choirs are
invited to participate in the first annual
Splash Day Choral Festival held on campus at
TAMU-Commerce and Splash Kingdom in Canton, TX. Choirs will perform
three pieces in the TAMU-Commerce Music Building Recital Hall on Friday
May 14th and then meet at Splash Kingdom in Canton on May 15th
from 1:00-7:00 for a day of water fun and the awards ceremony. Division

Best in Class trophies will
be given to a choir in each division and classification if there are
enough choirs participating in each division and classification. Pricing
will be:
Non-refundable $200.00 deposit that will be applied to the total
balance.
Performing student entrance fee $25.00
Non performing student or chaperon entrance fee $22.00
(Directors are complimentary)
Student performing only entrance fee $15.00
Registration is open until April 1st, 2010 at which time the
total balance must be paid in full. No refunds on student entrance fees
will take place after April 1st. More information and
registration forms will be mailed or emailed to schools by mid fall. If
