The Second Annual Northeast Texas Clarinet Day will take place on the Texas A&M University-Commerce campus on Saturday March 8, 2008. 

 

The event is designed for high school and college clarinetists from around the region as well as for band directors and private teachers.  All events are free and open to the public.  Students do not need to register to attend the clinic.

  

Masterclasses will be conducted by guest clinician, Gary Whitman, who joins us from Texas Christian University.  Performances by clarinetists from the NE Texas Region, including Gary Whitman.

 

The schedule is tentative, so check the website for updates and announcements.  All questions should be directed to founder/director of the event, Dr. Mary Alice Druhan.

 

High school students who would like to be considered as performers for the 10:30 a.m. masterclass should fill out an online application form and have a letter of recommendation submitted to Dr. Druhan.
