Athletic Referendum Information

• The Student Government Association approved & supports the Athletic Referendum.

• The voting is conducted by the Election Board comprised of Texas A&M University-Commerce students.

• Voting takes place October 21st and 22nd through myLEO.

• Any student graduating prior to the Fall of 2010 will not pay the fee.

• The fee will free up a portion of the money budgeted to Athletics from the student service fee budget providing more money for student services. A few of the student services, departments and programs that could benefit from the approval of this Athletic Referendum are listed below:

Ballot
Authorize the University to implement an athletic fee of $10 per semester credit hour not to exceed 13 semester credit hours. If approved, the departments, services, and organizations that are funded by the student service fee will be able to increase their services.  If approved, the fee will be implemented at the beginning of the fall semester 2010.
