Q1. What services can I get in Sam Rayburn Student Center?
A: The Sam Rayburn Student Center offers a variety of operational
areas that serve the students, faculty, and staff of A&M-Commerce,
as well as the Commerce community. The services we provide including
dining, game station, pool tables, entertainment,
event scheduling and approval, advertisement and so forth. For

Q2. What should I do if I want to make a room reservation?
A: The administrative office is in charge of the room service
for Sam Rayburn Student Center and other buildings on campus. If you want to request
any room or space, ask for approval at (903)886-5809. The steps
to reserve a room is as easy as 1-2-3. Follow the steps to make
sure you provide proper information and get your event scheduled.
1. Choose the date for your event and have details such
as number attending, start time and end time ready. For further

form.
2. Make room reservation at the Office of Scheduling. You
can either submit your request by phone (903)886-5809 or drop
by the office. We will assign you the proper room depending
on the nature of the event and number attending. For more
information about scheduling, see the scheduling
guidelines.
3. If you need food service (meal or refreshment) for your
event, please contact Dining
Service at (903)468-4890 and scheduling office for table
set up/requirments. If you need lap top computer for the presentation,
check with Media Service at the Library.

Service has exclusive right for the serving of food on campus.

Q4. How much do I have to pay for the room?
A:For the event taking place in Sam Rayburn Student Center building, If it is within
normal operating hours (8:00- 21:00, Monday to Friday) it is
free of charge for the recognized organization, faculty and
staff. If the event is scheduled after office hours, you have
to pay 10 dollars per hour for the building manager to work

Q5. We want to have a sale event on campus, what should
we do?
A: You have to contact the Office of Scheduling for approval.

Q6. How do I get my event advertised?
A: The media available are marquee signs, Inforscreens, flyers
and Student Activities Web site. You can come to Graf/x
Place at The Campus Synergy Lab to have your marquee signs
done. You can put your event on
InfoScreens free with the purchase of Marquee signs.If you
want to post flyers on the bulletin boards in Sam Rayburn Student Center building,
second floor in the Campus Activites to get
approval, for further instruction, check Permission
to Advertise On Campus. To get your event listed on the
Student Activities web site, check the application
form.

connection in Sam Rayburn Student Center?
