Bio:

Jennifer D. Oyler (Ph.D – Virginia Tech.) is currently an Assistant Professor of Management at Texas A & M University - Commerce. Prior to academia, Dr. Oyler worked for the National Catastrophe Response Team for State Farm Insurance and also as a Coalition Coordinator for the American Lung Association. Her primary interests include investigating organizational and community factors as they contribute to job satisfaction and employee turnover, individual differences and their impact on job attitudes, and business history and its contribution to managing diversity in organization. Dr. Oyler has published in journals such as the Academy of Management and Learning Education, Equal Opportunities International, and the Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship. Her teaching interests include teaching strategic management and diversity management at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
