A higher dimensional probability measure on the set of all partitions
Abstract:
The probability measures studied in the literature are mostly one dimensional. We present a new multidimensional probability measure on the set of all partitions. This extension to higher dimensions would yield multiple analogues of some of the classical results in the theory of probability. In addition, we will discuss how certain multiple series identities from analytic number theory are tied with our new multidimensional probability measure. We will also discuss possible applications to mathematical statistics.
