Spanish Program

Our Program has accomplished teacher-scholars specializing in Peninsular and Latin American literature, Chicano and U.S. Latino literature, Children’s literature, and Linguistics. Our main goal is to equip the teachers of tomorrow with a passion for Hispanic literatures and cultures. We mentor and nurture students for success and to gain the confidence to communicate in a wide array of foreign language environments (business, education, criminal justice, etc…)

Our Program assists students with scholarships to make international study abroad an opportunity for everyone. We offer senior Undergraduate and Graduate scholarships to study a long or short semester in either Spain or Mexico.
