Male graduate assistant

The Department of Literature and Languages at Texas A&M University-Commerce has graduate assistantships available for each semester. Assistantships within the department are either Graduate Assistant Non-Teaching (GANT) or Graduate Assistant Teaching (GAT) positions. Contact the Department for application forms.

Beginning TA's usually tutor in the Writing Center for 20 hours a week. Second-year and doctoral students teach two sections of first-year composition or equivalent per semester. Later opportunities include teaching literature, advanced comp, basic writing, and working in a computer classroom.
