Arrange a Library Tour/Bibliographic Instruction Session

Tours

Tours are available in conjunction with class projects and assignments. Tours can be arranged for off-campus locations as well. Contact Craig Wheeler  or any Reference staff member at 886-5721, 5719, 5720.


Library Conducted Classroom

A library conducted classroom presentation provides more extensive orientation. Through close coordination with the faculty member, a reference librarian will bring to the classroom specialized library materials and information pertinent to a class topic.


Hands-On Computer Lab

The Library has a hands-on computer lab with 16 computers for hands-on instruction. This lab can be reserved for Library instruction for small groups.

When you call/e-mail to set-up library instruction the following information will be needed:

Instructor name
Contact phone number
Number of students
Date/Time of Tour
Assignment/Project
Purpose of Tour
Focus or specific tools/materials needed

We expect the Instructor to be present for the tour. The tour must be tied to an assignment.
