The librarians in the Reference Department at Gee Library are available to help students learn how to use the library. Valuable information can also be found here on the library’s website, including:
- Database Access FAQs – The Systems Librarian, Marsha Keenan, has composed responses that address the most common problems encountered when utilizing the proxy for off-campus access.
- Research FAQs – Reference librarians at Gee Library answer the most common questions about using the library’s resources to conduct research.
- SearchPath – An online tutorial developed by the Reference librarians to teach the basics of information literacy and familiarize students with the library’s resources. SearchPath can be used individually or may be assigned as part of a class.
- Tutorials – A collection of various online instructions explaining things you need to know in order to use the library’s resources. Use the tutorials when you want an audio-visual presentation that will easily guide you through such things as reading a citation, finding a court case, searching the library catalog, etc.
