The Reference Department has developed a Library Liaison Program to better serve the needs of the faculty whether it be collection development, coordinating Library assignments, research, specific tours, or adding to the Library's website of  Gee Library Subject Resources.

Tours

Tours are available in conjunction with class projects and assignments. Tours can be arranged for off-campus locations as well. Contact Craig Wheeler at 886-5721, 5719, 5720.


Library Conducted Classroom

A library conducted classroom presentation provides more extensive orientation. Through close coordination with the faculty member, a reference librarian will bring to the classroom specialized library materials and information pertinent to a class topic. Online Catalog and Electronic Databases

The online catalog (LION) can be accessed from campus offices and from home via the Library homepage. Electronic Databases may be accessed in the Reference Department of the Library or from campus offices. The databases are also avialable from off-campus as well. Some of the databases include: ERIC, PsycInfo, Medline, Criminal Justice Abstracts, ABInform, First Search, Lexus-Nexus, and more.

Displays can be arranged by contacting Jim Conrad at 886-5737.


Subject Print-Outs

Subject print-outs are provided as a service to academic departments.
1. Total library holdings of titles within one or more call numbers can be provided. This list may be arranged in either Library of Congress classification order or in an alphabetical author arrangement.
2. A monthly listing by subject in author order of all titles cataloged the proceeding month may be requested through your department library representatives.
