Following in the path of pioneers of American aviaition, Jeana Yeager and her co pilot Dick Rutan became the first to fly non-stop and non-refueled around the world in December of 1986, a singular achievement in the history of human endeavors. In addition to her world record setting flight, Ms. Yeager set many records in the early to mid 1980’s for speed, endurance and distance.

The Jeana Yeager collection, housed in the Special Collection Department of the James G.
