GENERAL PURPOSE & SCOPE
The James G. Gee Library collection supports the curriculum and research
needs of undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty in the
Department of Agriculture.
Subject strengths include: agricultural economics, agricultural education,
agricultural mechanization, animal science, food science, plant and
soil science, technical and production agriculture, and horticulture.

The Department of Agricultural Sciences offers several
double major options for the Bachelor of Science degree with a major
in an agricultural science discipline and a major in one of the following
programs of study: journalism, radio/television, economics/finance,
or counseling. The department also supervises undergraduate of pre-professional
programs in veterinary medicine and wildlife management.

The collection development emphasis is on purchasing current literature
for undergraduate curriculum.
