Instructional Training Lab

Beginning fall semester 2008, the eCollege training lab in AG/IT room 221 will be “open” every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 12 noon and then again from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please feel free to “drop in” any time during these hours.

One of our eLearning team members (Dean Aslinia, Alan Francis, Jess Lamphere) will be available to assist you with any of the following:

Provide Faculty support for the “mechanics” of eCollege. Besides the basis ‘how-to” of eCollege, this would include creating test pools, grade book assistance and adding “glamour” to mundane documents.
Work in partnership with individual faculty members to design and develop online courses.
Provide assistance with Adobe Presenter (Breeze).

Provide assistance with Respondus.

Provide assistance with ClassLive Pro

Provide assistance with the Microsoft suite of office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.)

Provide assistance with research regarding resources which help enrich and supplement online courses. This would be “how to” research, for example recommending journal articles that provide insight as an improvement to online pedagogy, etc.
