Tuition and Fees

You are expected to have your own funds sufficient for the duration of your studies here at A&M-Commerce as shown on your sponsor statement and financial document. When you or the sponsor signs the affidavit of support you are confirming that the funds provided will be available for the duration of your studies. Students will need to rely on the funding source provided at admission as there are a limited number of on-campus jobs, off-campus employment is restricted, and there is no guarantee that you will receive a scholarship. It is very important to make sure you have enough funds readily available to pay at least half of campus housing, meal plan, and tuition and fees at the beginning of the semester.

Multiply the tuition rate by the number of course hours in which you plan to enroll each semester. For graduate students, a minimum course load is 9 credit hours per semester, for undergraduate students, it is 12-15. Remember to add pertinent lab and service fees.

However, at A&M-Commerce, any out-of-state student (domestic or international) who is granted a scholarship worth at least $1000 is charged the Resident/In-state tuition rate for the duration of the scholarship. This amounts to a substantial savings in tuition. There is no guarantee that a student will be the recipient of a scholarship any time during their studies at A&M- Commerce. It is strongly recommended that students have sufficient funds available to cover the cost of studying at A&M- Commerce for the duration of their program.
