For Health and Physical Education

The purpose of the examinations is to ensure the educator has the necessary content and professional knowledge to perform satisfactorily in Texas public schools.  The tests are criterion-referenced multiple-choice examinations designed to measure a candidate's knowledge in relation to an established standard of competence rather than to the performance of other candidates.

Registration will not be allowed without academic department approval. Examinees who are completing requirements for certification through an educator preparation program will be required by their program to complete additional requirements established by the program before authorization to retest is granted.  You may not register to take the same test more than once on the same day.

Departmental Review Sessions are held periodically preceding physical education TExES examinations. 

 

The next review session is February 19th from 7-9pm. The cost is $10. Register today in FH 100.  Minimum of 5 people for session to be held.  If 5 do not register, you will receive study materials.
