Desk Attendant
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Applicants for the desk attendant position should be enrolled
as a student in good standing at A&M Commerce.
-
Be able to arrange classes so that at least two consecutive
hours are available in the morning or afternoon or both.
-
Have some knowledge of office equipment (computer knowledge
helpful).
-
Possess good communication skills and the ability to work
with people.
REPORTS TO:
Hall Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Desk Attendant is responsible for the following areas:
-
Serves as receptionist, referring callers (on phone and in
person) to the appropriate person for answers to questions.
-
Makes appointments with hall director.
-
Forwards mail when applicable.
-
Performs other general office functions as needed.
-
Updates files on computer.
