Graduate Honors Scholarships

H.Y. Benedict Fellowship:

The H. Y. Benedict Fellowship, with a stipend of $2,500, is for the first year of graduate study toward the master's, doctor's, or professional degree at any recognized institution. For eligibility, a nominee must plan to complete his or her undergraduate degree in the academic year in which application is made and must enroll full-time in a graduate or professional program in the fall semester of the award year. This scholarship is named after Dr. Harry Benedict, Alpha Chi's founder and first secretary-treasurer.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship Program will award approximately 35 scholarships to college seniors or recent graduates to attend graduate programs in fall 2007. The scholarship awards will provide funding for tuition, room and board, books, and other required fees for the length of the graduate degree program, up to six years. The amount and duration of awards will vary by student, based on the cost of attendance and length of the program as well as other scholarships or grants received. The maximum award per student is $50,000 per year.

Candidates for this scholarship must be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at their undergraduate institution. Please see the list of designated faculty representatives. Candidates may not apply directly to the Foundation for this program.
